I could really use a little calming this week. So let me take us back to the beach vacation we took in July. We try to go to the beach for a week every summer and this one was bittersweet since it may be the last that my oldest will come with us since he is big man on campus in college now.
I like going to the beach because I have always loved the waves. Although these days they can freak me out since I have these people I have to worry about when they are out there. But I still love the sounds, smells and feelings of the beach.
Another nice thing about the beach is the lack of schedule. Normally, schedules are good because it keeps us busy and not bored but it is nice to unwind and not have to worry about being anywhere at a certain time. Except of course having to get to any restaurant early so we can seat a group of 7!
So let’s take a look at some photos and dream of vacation.

Check out this post to find out more about the Calm My Crazy meme. This weekly post is for me and for you. A place to share our moment of calm. Something that brings us a little peace and happiness in a world of crazy.

I LOVE the mini golfing in heels! Girls are the best! And the beach….oh, how I love the beach. I live too close for words to it and hardly got there this year…

She is such a fashionista. We got a lecture on our fashion tonight and it was downright hilarious. Apparently I am supposed to wear blue tomorrow.

A bad day at the beach is better than a good day anywhere else…or something to that effect. LOL
So glad everyone had fun.

I just told my friend yesterday that I feel like I need a vacation after summer vacation. Is something wrong with me?! I feel like it wore me out and then with back to school and trying to get into our routines, I am just wiped out.

I think now we are finally getting into a groove with school so I don’t miss summer quite so much but still, I think I’d rather be at the beach!
