Well so much for plans. This bonus week I ended up not doing anything. I blew off workouts and didn’t follow the mean plan. I at least still logged everything in My Fitness Pal but that was mostly the extent of it so of course I gained. It wasn’t bad but not what I wanted.
So at the end of my first Uprising I came out down almost 2 pounds. It would have been much more had I actually followed the plan, I am certain of that. My own experience of following the diet and exercise plan shows that it works when you follow it. Plus, the private Facebook support group is full of people who are losing weight and changing their bodies.
So my hurdle is my own issues with commitment. Last week my chronic migraines were worse again so I blew off everything good for me. That is a typical reaction of mine that I have yet to overcome. When I hurt, I don’t want to work out and I want to eat comfort food.
I look forward to the next Uprising to work on changing those habits. I like Revolt and although it is tough for me to follow anything strictly, I am at least eating better (who knew I actually like brussels sprouts?) and getting more activity. Any program that can do that for me gets a thumbs up.
The August Uprising as some additional incentives. Check out the website to see what’s going on. You can enter to win a prize with before and after photos.
