Yeah, that’s right, I said it, imma Gleek. I totally dig Glee. It is such good fun.
I’ve mentioned before that I really love music. Although not musically talented myself, I have just always loved to sing and dance. I’m glad that my kids love music too.
So when they started advertising Glee, I knew I would love it. And it did not disappoint. Now in the second season, I still thoroughly enjoy it.
Can it be over the top? Yes. Can it be a little cheesy? Yes. But where else can you find such great characters with awesome talent that you can watch and sing along with?
My daughter and I make CDs of all our favorites and listen in the car, in the house, heck she even listens to the Glee Christmas album as she falls asleep. My stepsons make fun. Tell me that the Glee versions of songs totally suck. That they ruin them. Whatevs, I don’t care what they think. More and more artists wouldn’t be lining up to have Glee cover their songs if they sucked. But I don’t care to convince them.
I just like to enjoy it. And I can not wait to see the big after Super Bowl episode. I mean, Thriller! Come on, that is going to be EPIC!
Make fun if you wish but there are many, many of us Gleeks out there. And we’re all singing and dancing along.
